For shipments within the contiguous US and Canada, UPS or FedEx are used for shipments weighing less than 150 pounds. Common carriers are used for all other shipments over 150 pounds.
Some shipments are delivered by a large (18-wheeler) truck. We suggest scouting the delivery location to make certain the truck will have access.
International orders of fewer than ten mechanisms are typically shipped air-freight, airport to airport. International orders of more than ten mechanisms are typically shipped by container.
Damaged Shipments: If your shipment arrives damaged, please refuse delivery and have the driver note refusal reason as "damaged." If you are unable to refuse the damaged shipment, or if the freight damage is concealed, notify the freight company, and AUTON, immediately. Shipping related damages must be reported to the freight company, and AUTON, within seven (7) days of receipt of shipment. Take pictures of the damage, and ask the freight company for a claim number. Open a support ticket with AUTON describing the damage at https://auton.com/pages/support. Please include photos and the claim number provided by the freight company. Do not throw away the original packaging.
All sales of custom mechanisms are final. No refunds, no returns, no exchanges.
You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase only if the item is defective or damaged. Please send us an email at email@example.com. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days. There are certain situation where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shipping a Return
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 24856 Ave Rockefeller, Valencia, CA 91355 with your RMA number if applicable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
AUTON warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 3 years. All warranties are in effect beginning the date the product was invoiced by AUTON. All warranties are in effect for the original purchaser only. AUTON disclaims liability for any modifications, improper installation, or installations over the specified weight capacity. AUTON also disclaims liability for any modifications made to electrical mechanisms, improper installation, incorrect voltage connection and/or installations over the stated weight capacity. AUTON's sole warranty obligation to the owner of its products is to repair or replace (at AUTON's discretion) defective products at no charge to the original purchaser within the warranty period. The purchaser is responsible for returning the product to AUTON Manufacturing via prepaid shipping. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AUTON disclaims any other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability. Any repairs to AUTON products required due to misuse, abuse or shipping damage or repairs of defective AUTON product outside the warranty period will be performed at the current rates established by AUTON for factory service. Warranty work performed on site, by an AUTON technician, will be billed at the current rates established by AUTON. Travel charges may also apply.
AUTON will not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use or inability to use AUTON products, even if AUTON has been advised of the possibility of such damages. AUTON bears no responsibility for incidental or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, any labor charges for the repair of AUTON products performed by someone other than an AUTON employee. Because some states and jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply. AUTON will not be responsible for damage to AUTON products caused by misuse, abuse, failure to properly package the product for return to AUTON or for damage caused by carriers during shipment to or from AUTON.
