Shipping Policy

AUTON has shipped mechanisms to virtually every single major metropolitan city around the world!

For shipments within the contiguous US and Canada, UPS or FedEx are used for shipments weighing less than 150 pounds.  Common carriers are used for all other, heavier, shipments.

Some shipments are delivered by a large (18-wheeler) truck. We suggest scouting the delivery location to make certain the truck will have access.

International orders of fewer than ten mechanisms are typically shipped air-freight, airport to airport. International orders of more than ten mechanisms are typically shipped by container.

Damaged Shipments:  If your shipment arrives damaged, please refuse delivery and have the driver note refusal reason as "damaged."  If you are unable to refuse the damaged shipment, or if the freight damage is concealed, notify the freight company, and AUTON, immediately.  Shipping related damages must be reported to the freight company, and AUTON, within seven (7) days of receipt of shipment.  Take pictures of the damage, and ask the freight company for a claim number. Open a support ticket with AUTON describing the damage.  Please include photos and the claim number provided by the freight company. Do not throw away the original packaging.
